Why is this site here (if it is here)?

I started this website as preparation to studying A211 Philosophy and the Human Situation with the Open University next year, but, due to a change in home circumstances, I have felt the need to postpone that course for the time being. However, the interest in philosophy remains and so does this site! Things might begin to blossom later - but, meantime, this is just a taster!
